"On July 28, 2025, the MR product oil / chemical tanker 'WECO MEMPHIS BELLE' built by Jinglu shipyard for Hartree Partners was successfully delivered. Wang Hong, Party Secretary and General Manager of Jinglu Shipyard, and Panteleimon Sofiadis, the site manager for Hartree Partners, signed the delivery documents on behalf of both parties. This vessel is the first MR tanker designed by FKAB and also the first vessel delivered through the collaboration between Jinglu shipyard and FKAB Design.
The vessel is a new generation MR tanker built by Jinglu shipyard, with a length of 183.1 meters, a beam of 32.2 meters, and a designed draft of 11.0 meters. It has 20 cargo holds and is a high-end vessel of its type in the international market, capable of simultaneously transporting highly corrosive goods such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid. The vessel is equipped with advanced technologies such as a shaft generator and a scrubber, which significantly reduce operating costs.
What is particularly exciting is that the delivery date of this vessel was 95 days ahead of the contracted schedule.
